Well definitely don't give her cokoed bones as they break up easily and can splinter your dog's gums or he/she could choke on a small chunk. Perhaps a real hard jerky liver bone from the vet or pet store will do. Butcher scrap bones are okay as long as it's raw and big enough for your dog to not be able to swallow it. HINT: If you want the butcher bone to last longer leave a bit of meat left on it or smear peanut butter on the bone. Then she/he will be spending longer trying to demolish the bone.References :
